The San Diego Airport was small. Smaller than the other airports we been in. Every bathroom you go to has a line. It looks like it's crowded. But Alaska Airlines is very nice, we love flying with them. I Love that they carry Teavana tea. I was able to have my Tea Time way high up in the sky. The flight crew is always Friendly and helpful. I appreciate them a lot. If you looking for a good airline, go Alaska Airlines 🤙🙏
This review is for a flight 1 week ago. A ticket counter supervisor assisted me and my service animal with check-in, TSA, wheelchair assistance to the gate and boarding. Alaska Airlines is very accommodating, allows a carry on luggage + one personal carry on item at no extra charge. Alaska offers the best customer service I've received from a domestic airline in the past 3-years. I average flying 2 - 4 flights a month. Alaska Airline is number one based on my experience.
Less than 1* actually- supposed to land LAX pilot said diversion due to shortage of fuel but Alaska now says weather related at LAX which avoids liability for them. My son got this picture whilst waiting in vain at LAX
I know they had a wall rip off recently, but that didn’t happen to me. I missed my flight was given 4,000 miles of flight travel in return. They care they have some of the better seats for flights and always take care of you. Thanks for helping me figure out how to get home. And for being so kind. #isleseats4life
The company has been doing a great job implementing the new standards, and they couldn't be prouder. Alaska Airlines went all in, and it paid off big time. They made some changes, and they learned some valuable lessons about humility and candor. There are also several upgrades that were rolled out at the beginning of the year, and those have paid big dividends for the investors. Then, they merged with the regional carrier and brought on the entire board of directors to oversee the future of the long-term project. Speaking of long-term projects, you can order your meals 48 hours in advance when you are flying over 500 miles. Or something like that. Don't quote me on the time, number of miles, or any other seemingly factual statements contained herein.
Amazing customer service at baggage drop off at San Diego airport on 1/14/24 in the early afternoon. Love flying Alaska as I always have a great experience. There customer service is always exceptional!
I took an Alaska Airlines flight from San Diego to Seattle and stayed one night in Seattle and then made another flight to Alaska.
I usually take 100 or more flights each year, and this flight was one of my worst experiences in 2023.
We checked in only for the first segment last night and checked in two suitcases for my family. I realized that the lady at Alaska Airlines checked in our luggage to our final destination in Alaska; thus, I immediately asked her to remake our tags to Seattle because we needed our suitcases for Seattle stay. She didn't want to replace the luggage tags and told us we could get our luggage in Seattle. I didn't want to make any argument but decided to trust her words.
Upon arriving in Seattle, we went to Alaska Airlines luggage help and explained the situation, and asked a gentleman to take out our luggage. Apparently, he didn't want to help and told us that our luggage would go to Alaska tomorrow..... I patiently explained him and asked for help, and then he informed us, "we could pull out, but take 3-4 hours!!!!"
We didn't want to wait for our luggage until 3am. No choice but gave up. Today, my family members and I wear the same clothes and are not prepared for Alaska' s cold weather.
Personally, I like Alaska Airlines and always enjoy my flights, but there is something wrong with its ground staff.
